This beautiful car was built for a very successful collector who wanted a 1973 RS, for less than $600,000, to have fun with that he did not have to worry if it got damaged. The car was built as close to spec that they could manage. The body started as a 1970 911T. The rear fenders were butt-welded, as the original cars were done, plus the color of the original 911T was maintain. The 2.7L engine was redone to take it from 180HP to 210HP, which also included an overhaul of the MFI, again to spec.
I've never had the pleasure to put a vintage RS through it's paces, but from people who have, they claim this car loses nothing to the few built at the Porsche factory in 1973.
I'm not lying this time when I say if one takes this car to a Porsche show 99% of the enthusiast will think you have a vintage 73 RS.
